Photo booth templates

A photo booth template is the design printed around your photos: your names, the date, your colours, sometimes a logo. Pick one of more than 22,000 designs, we set it up with your details, and you approve a proof before the event.

Real strips from real events

Exactly as they printed on the night, from weddings in Niagara Falls, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Mississauga. Same booth, very different looks.

Template sizes: 2×6 strips and 4×6 prints

2×6 photo strips are the classic: three or four photos stacked, with your design in a band at the bottom or top. They print two at a time on one 4×6 sheet, cut down the middle. Strips are unlimited with Snap & Print and Complete.

4×6 prints are postcard size, with one to three larger photos and more room for the design. They suit frames and fridge doors, and you can choose them instead of strips with the Complete package.

Making one yourself for another printer? At 300 dots per inch a strip is 600 × 1800 pixels and a 4×6 is 1200 × 1800 (or 1800 × 1200 sideways). Most booth software lays the design over the photos as a PNG with transparent windows, so keep names and dates out of those windows and away from the cut edge.

Compare the sizes side by side on the pricing page, or work out how many you need with the print calculator.

Template questions

Is a custom template included?

Yes, in every package. Pick any design from the gallery and we set it up with your names, date and colours at no extra cost.

Can we use our own design or logo?

Yes. Send your design, monogram or logo with your booking and we will build the template around it.

What size is a photo booth strip?

A strip is 2 by 6 inches, usually three or four photos stacked with the design at the bottom. A 4×6 print is postcard size. At print resolution that is 600 × 1800 pixels for a strip and 1200 × 1800 for a 4×6.

Do digital photos get the template too?

Yes. The copies guests text to themselves and the gallery copies carry the same design as the prints, including on the digital-only Snap package.

When do we choose?

Any time before the event. After you book, we email a private link to the full gallery; send the design you like and we send a proof to approve.
