The self-serve photo booth: camera and touchscreen head, umbrella flash, on a slim pedestal stand

Meet the booth

Slim, white and about the footprint of a small table. It looks good in a ballroom and does not argue with your decor.

  • Camera: a real camera behind the lens, not the screen's selfie camera
  • Studio flash: the umbrella light up top keeps faces bright in dark rooms
  • Touchscreen: guests tap to start, pose for the countdown, then print or text
  • Printer: unlimited 2×6 strips or 4×6 prints in seconds, with Snap & Print and Complete

Setup takes about 40 minutes. See space and power for what the venue needs.

Why self-serve works

A staffed booth runs for a few hours. Ours is set up before your guests arrive and runs until 11pm, so guests use it when they want to, not when the attendant is on shift.

The touchscreen is simple enough for grandparents and quick enough for the dance floor. Need help on the day? Call us. Phone help usually comes within about 15 minutes.

Cheap is not the same as low-cost

A self-serve booth only works if it keeps working after we leave. So ours uses a real mirrorless camera and studio lighting, a printer that is tested before your doors open, and a template designed for your event.

What we leave out is the attendant. That is the whole reason it costs less, and why the booth can stay open until 11pm without a clock running.

If something goes wrong

Call us. Phone help is usually within about 15 minutes, and if the booth needs a visit we aim to be on-site within 60 to 90 minutes.

Questions people actually ask

Are prints really unlimited?

Yes. Snap & Print and Complete include unlimited prints for the whole evening. The booth is loaded with a full roll at setup, more than any wedding has ever used. Each session ends with a print or a text, and every photo lands in your online gallery afterward.

What size are the prints?

Snap & Print comes with 2×6 photo strips. Complete lets you choose 2×6 strips or 4×6 postcard photos. Both print in seconds and carry your names and date.

Do you have an audio or video guest book?

All three. The Audio Guest Book is included with Complete: guests pick up a vintage-style phone and leave you a voice message after your custom greeting. Upgrade it to a Video Guest Book for $99, and guests leave their message on camera instead. Recordings are delivered through your gallery within a week. Or add the Typewriter Guest Book for $99: a working vintage typewriter guests type notes on, which you roll up and keep. No booth? The typewriter is $349 on its own, or both guest books together for $399. For a photo guest book, add the instant camera guest book: from $109 with 20 instant prints guests sign for you.

What does self-serve mean?

We drop off the booth, set it up and test it. Your guests run it themselves on a simple touchscreen. No attendant is needed, which is why it costs a fraction of a staffed booth.

How long do we get the booth?

The whole evening. We set up between 9am to 4pm on your event date, ready and tested at least an hour before your guests arrive, and the booth runs until 11pm. Need it later? Late hours are $50 an hour up to 1am, booked in advance. We pick up the same night.

What if something goes wrong during the event?

Call us. Phone help is usually within about 15 minutes, and if the booth needs a visit we aim to be on-site within 60 to 90 minutes.

Does the venue need wifi?

No. With wifi, photos appear in your online gallery during the event. Without it, the booth still works and the gallery fills up the next day.

What camera does it use?

A real mirrorless camera with proper lighting, not a tablet camera. Photos come out sharp and flattering, even in a dark reception hall.

Do you charge for travel?

Not anywhere from Mississauga to Fort Erie. Setup and pickup are included in every package.

How much space does it need?

About the size of a small table plus room for a group to stand in front. Send us your venue and we will tell you where it fits best.

Who is behind Snap & Go?

A small local team in St. Catharines that has run photo booths at weddings and events across Niagara since 2020. We deliver, set up and pick up every booth ourselves. Leaving out the attendant is why it costs less.

How do we book?

Send us your date and venue. We have two booths, one date each, so check early. We confirm availability, send a short agreement to sign online, and a $200 deposit holds your date. The balance is due two weeks before the event.

More on hours, wifi, space and setup in the full FAQ.

Is your date still open?

Tell us your date and venue. We will get back to you with availability and next steps.
