White video guest book kiosk with a tablet and handheld mic on a lawn by white roses

How the video guest book works

Three steps. Like the booth, you are involved in none of them.

1
We set it up
The kiosk arrives with the booth. It stands on its own, needs one outlet, and we place it where the light is kind and the music is not too loud.
2
Guests tap and talk
Pick up the mic, tap the screen, say your piece, tap to stop. Thirty seconds or three minutes. No app, no login, no phone needed.
3
You get every clip
All recordings are delivered through your online gallery within a week. The raw clips, not a two-minute highlight reel someone else edited.

What guests leave in the Video Guest Book

A few prompts to put on the sign, or the kind of thing that shows up without one.

"Show us your best dance move, then say something nice."
"What did you think the first time you met us as a couple?"
"Record a message for our kids to watch one day."
"Three words for the next fifty years."

Included

Freestanding video kiosk with screen, mic and light
Your custom welcome screen
Unlimited recordings, no per-clip limit
A "Leave us a video message" sign
All clips delivered through your online gallery within 7 days

Tips from the weddings we have done

Light matters more than you think
The kiosk has a built-in light, but a dark corner still looks dark. We find the spot with the kindest light at setup.
Keep it away from the speakers
Video with music drowning the voice is the one complaint we hear about kiosks. A hallway or the lobby often beats the ballroom.
Give them a prompt
A sign with one question gets better clips than "say something." Pick one of ours or write your own.
Pair it with the booth
Guests already in the mood from the photo booth walk straight to the kiosk. Put them near each other.

Questions about the video guest book

How much does a video guest book cost?

Standalone kiosk rentals typically run $599 to $1,500. Ours is $99 with the Complete photo booth package, $199 with Snap or Snap & Print, or $399 on its own.

Does it need wifi?

No. Clips are stored on the kiosk and uploaded to your gallery afterward. It needs one standard outlet.

How long can a message be?

As long as your guest likes. Most clips land between 20 seconds and two minutes.

Do you edit the clips?

No. You get every raw clip, in full, through your gallery within seven days. If you want a highlight reel, you have everything you need to make one.

Can we rent the video guest book on its own?

Yes, $399, delivered and set up anywhere from Mississauga to Fort Erie and collected the same night. It is cheapest with a booth, though: $99 with Complete.

Can it go outside?

Under cover, yes. The kiosk is not weatherproof, and screens are hard to see in direct sun. A tent or covered patio works well.
