How the audio guest book works

Three steps. Like the booth, you are involved in none of them.

We set it up
The phone arrives with the booth, or on its own. We place it somewhere quieter than the dance floor and test it. It runs all evening without power worries or wifi.

Guests pick up
They lift the handset, hear your recorded greeting, and talk after the tone. Toasts, confessions, advice, the uncle who sings. Hang up to save.

You get every message
All recordings are delivered through your online gallery within a week. Keep them, share them, play them on your anniversary.

Record your own greeting
A 15-second hello in your voices gets guests talking. Send us an MP3 or we will record it for you. We have five script ideas if you are stuck.
Put it where people linger
Near the bar, the card table or the photo booth. Not beside the speakers: the best messages are the ones you can actually hear.
Have the DJ mention it
One announcement after dinner doubles the number of messages. A small sign helps; we bring one.
Expect the unexpected
Couples tell us the messages from grandparents and the ones left at 11pm are the keepers.

Questions about the audio guest book

How much does an audio guest book cost in Niagara?

Standalone rentals typically run $250 to $400. Ours is included with the Complete photo booth package at $599, or paired with the typewriter guest book for $399 without a booth.

Does it need wifi or power?

No wifi. It needs a standard outlet nearby, which we handle at setup. Messages are stored on the phone and uploaded afterward.

How long can each message be?

As long as your guest wants. There is no per-message limit and no cap on the number of messages.

How do we get the recordings?

Through your online gallery, within seven days of the wedding. Download them, share the link with family, or keep them private.

Can we use it outdoors?

Yes, under cover. The phone is not waterproof, so a tent, a porch or a covered patio is fine; an open lawn in the rain is not.

Can we rent the audio guest book on its own?

It comes with the Complete package, or bundled with the typewriter guest book for $399 without a booth. We do not rent the phone alone.

What should our greeting say?

Say who you are, thank them for coming and tell them what to do: wait for the tone, leave a message, hang up to save. Keep it under 15 seconds. Our greeting examples guide has ready-to-read scripts in five styles.

What should the sign say?

Keep it to three steps: pick up the phone, wait for the tone, leave us a message. We bring a "Leave a message" sign; add your names and date if you want it to match your stationery.

How do we set up the audio guest book table?

We do it. Give us a small table near the bar or the card table, away from the speakers, and within reach of an outlet. Add a framed photo or flowers if you like; the phone and sign come with it.
